Everything below happens at app.paynecta.co.ke. Nothing here needs a developer.

1. Create your login

Sign up with your name, email address and phone number. We email you a six-digit code to confirm the address, then you choose a username and password. The code lasts ten minutes. If it has not arrived, check spam before asking for another: there is a short wait between resends, deliberately, so a stuck inbox does not turn into forty emails.
One login, one device at a time. Signing in somewhere new ends the previous session, so if you are suddenly signed out, that is usually why.

2. Add your business

Choose what kind of business it is. That choice decides who we ask about and which documents verification will need, so it is worth getting right: Then name the people. Type each name exactly as it appears on their ID or passport. A middle name that is on the document but not in the form is the single commonest reason verification is sent back.

3. Get verified

Verification has two parts, on two pages.
1

Owner details

For each person: whether they are using a national ID or a passport, the number on it, and their KRA PIN.
2

Documents

Photographs of the documents themselves. What is asked for follows the identification each person chose, so this page only appears once the details are in.
Submit when everything is provided. Your documents are then locked while a reviewer has them, and you get an email either way, usually within one business day.

What each document should look like

The specifics, including what gets a submission sent back.

4. Start collecting

Once verification is approved, the limit on your account lifts and you can say where money should settle.
Settlement and payment collection are being built now. This page will cover them properly as they land, rather than describing them ahead of time.
